Human-Technology
Convergence
RESEARCH PROGRAM
Human–Technology Convergence investigates emerging hybrid ecologies where biological, cognitive, sensory, and computational systems blend.
This area focuses on how humans and intelligent machines co-function, through interaction, augmentation, behavioural feedback loops, embodied systems, and
bio-computational interfaces.
The program studies how new forms of cognition, perception, and coordination emerge as technology becomes embedded in lived experience, from bio-digital processes to new modes of human–AI teaming.
Focus includes:
-
Human–AI collaboration and cognitive augmentation
-
Bio-digital systems and hybrids
-
Sensory and interaction futures
-
Embodied AI and cyber-physical ambient systems
